This joyful sight was caught on camera and we want to share it with you as an example of taking the leap to find your joy. The delight these sea lions are feeling as they surf the waves off the coast of Santa Barbara is infectious to anyone who sees it, and the same is true when we pursue our own joy in life- we bring light into the world and share that light with those around us.
That isn’t to say that the pursuit of pleasure is the sole goal of any life, or that it should be. As humans, we can’t avoid suffering, but we can find ways to alleviate the suffering of others. Whether your joy is in working towards the direct relief of others, or if your joy infuses you with a positivity that flows outward from you to others, in either case, the net result is more good in the world.
Our passion at Bliss Auctions is to make the fundraising event planning process as blissful and, at the same time, as successful as possible. Through pursuing our joy, we hope to help the helpers make the world a better place.
