Ruth Grayson and Michael Lewis, the founders of Bliss Auctions, are passionate Professional Benefit Auctioneers & Consultants with extensive experience in the auction industry, event production and customer service. Their number one goal is to help ease the burden on the Event Chairs and Directors of the world as they plan their fundraising events, while ensuring their clients reach their goals.
The two met in 2014 thanks to the dating site, okCupid. Michael had been working in the auction industry for over a decade alongside his father and in the footsteps of his grandfather. He had also developed a love of science and technology, which he applied to hobbies and side jobs alike. Meanwhile, Ruth had spent nearly two decades honing customer service and problem solving skills in the catering industry and the independent film world, along with brief employment adventures like working on a cruise ship in Hawaii and being 1 of the original 16 Lyft drivers in Los Angeles (back in the heady days of 2013).
Both Michael and Ruth love to create and are frequent supporters of the arts. They also support animal rescue groups and educational organizations, as well as environmental advocates. They are committed to improving the lives of others in their city of Los Angeles and beyond!
