For over two decades, The Trevor Project has made it their mission to prevent suicides among LGBTQIA+ youth and to work towards a world where all young people see a bright future for themselves.
The crisis of LGBTQ teens is well-documented today, thanks in part to 2 of the 5 programs run by The Trevor Project: Research and Public Education. But that is far from all they do! They also offer Crisis Services, Peer Support and Advocacy, all with the aim of protecting at-risk young people.
They offer tons of resources for everyone, including allies and educators. We encourage you to explore their site and find topics you’d like to learn more about. There are lots of ways to get involved, so check it out!
