Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to the women and men who serve our country, and we here at Bliss Auctions wish to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to all veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.
Because we work in the nonprofit sector, we try to be aware of the many organizations that are local to us, doing excellent and often under-appreciated work in our communities. Our recent move to Rancho Cucamonga put us in close proximity to a fantastic group of volunteers at the Heroes Warehouse. They give their time and energy to fulfill their mission, which is “to provide previously homeless Veterans and their families with furniture and essentials for their permanent homes at no cost.”
For more than 8 years, they’ve received donations of new and gently used furniture and household essentials, like lamps, art and dishes, and then provide them to the veterans and their families. They’ve even managed to keep providing service during the pandemic, which we think is a true testament to their passion for serving those who have served. We wanted to highlight their good work, and let our community know that, during this giving season, if they are able, they can donate items or money to this great non-profit.
