To honor Veterans Day, we dedicate this week’s Moment of Bliss to those who serve our service members!
Since we at Bliss Auctions partner with so many nonprofits, we thought it would be fitting way to honor Veterans Day by highlighting a few wonderful organizations who work with veterans and service members and their families. If you are in a position to support any of them, it would be a wonderful way to say thank you for their service.
We’ve previously written about the Call of Duty Endowment which has helped place over 100,000 veterans into meaningful employment since its founding in 2009. We also wrote about Heroes Warehouse, a local org that provides home furnishings and essentials to previously homeless veterans and their families.
Then there’s the Green Beret Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Special Forces soldiers and their families since 2009. Another great organization is Fisher House, which has worked since 1990 to provide housing for the families of service members who are in the hospital.
However you choose to celebrate our heroes, we join you in saluting their service.
