It’s time for another Nonprofit Spotlight and, in honor of Pride month, we are celebrating the wonderful work of Point of Pride.
We chose this particular org because of the direct help that they offer to their community. While the need for advocacy and legal efforts is very high right now, so is direct support to individuals who need access to gender-affirming healthcare.
Point of Pride is based in Oregon, and have supported thousands of people in 100 different countries to date.
Trans rights are human rights, and the support that Point of Pride offers goes a long way towards empowering trans people and celebrating their joy. They even have a letter-writing program in which allies can create & write heartful messages of affirmation to be sent to recipients. We encourage you to check them out and give them your support!
