If we all took a moment to celebrate and spotlight someone else, we could send ripples of kindness and connection out into a world that needs it. And that’s just what one Instagrammer did.
Grandparents can play such an important role in the lives of children, and Grandpa liked to read comics to his grandkids. The pandemic made it harder for him to do so, and when someone suggested he start a Youtube channel, he did.
Despite the wholesome content he created for his channel, his audience didn’t grow by much. But then Instagrammer Cole Caetano found his channel and decided to give him a boost by creating a video to highlight him. Cole’s community loved the Grandpa channel so much that he soon surpassed the 500,000 followers mark during a livestream with Cole.
The support of his fellow creators and his willingness to boost others shows that Cole is clearly a class act. And as Grandpa says in the video above, “There’s never been a greater need for kindness, for love, for encouragement, for accepting people the way they are.”
